Software & Data

I develop and use open, reproducible tools for coastal and estuarine oceanography.

Tracker

Tracker is an offline Lagrangian particle-tracking package for regional ocean models. I evaluated Tracker against online and offline particle-tracking approaches in ROMS and documented its strengths and limitations for coastal transport studies.

Modeling frameworks

My work uses and extends ROMS, SCHISM, and EFDC. Applications include exchange flow, residence and exposure times, harmful algal blooms, hypoxia, environmental DNA dispersal, and sediment transport.

Reproducible science

I use Python, MATLAB, Fortran, Linux, and high-performance computing to process observations, run regional models, analyze particle trajectories, and create publication-quality visualizations. Code and selected workflows are available through my GitHub profile.
